With Christmas and New Years done and dusted, now is the time we’re ready to settle down, relax and set those 2021 resolutions with the intent on actually achieving them this time.
While hitting the gym, getting organized or being consistent with skincare often makes the list, most seem to forget that our hair needs a lot of love too – particularly over summer. Subjected to sun and high UV daily, chlorine from poolside days – and of course many a Christmas party-induced styling session – we tend to neglect a part of ourselves that is often the most on show. But we get it; it’s just been the busiest time of year and with a tonne of hair care on the market, you don’t have time to sort the good from the not so good.
At Louvelle, you already know we’re about looking after our locks, but we’ve compiled a few of our favourite masks and treatments to give your hair some extra TLC over the coming weeks.

3MoreInches Prewash Treatment
We’re not sure if you’ve heard but our hair is actually at its most fragile and vulnerable when it’s wet. Meaning: more prone to tangling, splitting and breakage. That’s why first up on our list is the 3MoreInches Prewash Treatment. Infused with cashmere amino acids to repair and recondition hair, it replenishes and rehydrates the hair shaft (particularly in damaged locks) for softer, shinier and healthier hair. This next one is for all those who just need a little extra hydration. Of course, to ensure optimal results, we always recommend to use one of our RIVA Hair Towel Wraps post showering to absorb much of the water from your hair before drying / styling. Drier hair = less heat needed = healthier strands! Also, if applying a treatment or mask to damp hair, it also ensures more of the treatment is absorbed due to less water in the hair.
